From The East

Brethren,

The lodge is coming along well so far. Many thanks to Mike Evangelisto, Dave Weaver and the others on the building committee who are working very hard to get things done. Also thanks to those who came out on the 4th to help out with the work party. There is still much work to be done on the building and any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

The lodge is in need of someone to lead the Ways-and-Means Committee. If you have the time to offer the lodge to help make sure that we can keep our building and still offer support to our community, please contact me. We are also still collecting e-mail addresses, if you want to receive this trestleboard via e-mail, we will soon be sending them out electronically as well. This will save the lodge time and money in sending paper ones out to those who elect to receive them electronically, and spare a few trees in the process.

We will be having a Fellowcraft Degree on the 5th Thursday of the month, April 30th. We need to prepare for this brethren, so please come to lodge school on Thursdays or give me a call anytime you want to work on your parts. Officers, please remember that it is your duty to prepare for the east when your time comes, in many lodges all degree work is done by the officers, this takes a huge load off the master. Anytime you have to learn to confer degrees all you need to do is call and we are here to support you.
